About the belief of the Hindus that Brahma should have created the universe
Though nobody may be in a position to vouch for it — let us assume that in the beginning, nobody would have ever thought that there should have been somebody who should have created the sun, the moon, the earth, the sky, the oceans, the mountains and the forests as well so many types of animals and so many types of birds flying in the sky.
However, over some time, it should have occurred to someone that they could safely assume that God should have created the entire universe.
The way the idea of four or eight armed gods and goddesses should have entered the minds of the people who should have laid the foundation of the Hindu Religion
Most probably, it should have occurred to the people who should have launched the idea of some creator of the universe that unless they assigned certain such attributes as having had as many as four or eight arms to the gods; the human beings may not agree that some god should have created the universe.
So, they should have come up with the idea of the gods having had as many as four or eight arms, as most 0f the Hindu gods and goddesses had been projected to have had, as shown in the following picture of the goddess “Durga”.
But don’t you think unless we blindly assume that everything that had been indoctrinated in the minds of the Hindus, any such idea may be accepted only by some idiots?
About the introduction of the new word “Covidiot” in the Oxford Dictionary
It is learnt that the Oxford Dictionary has recently added a new word “Covidiot” in the dictionary for a person who doesn’t obey the Corona norms.
According to my perception, if they did not find anything wrong in including the word “Covidiot” — they should not have had any reservation on the inclusion of the word “Religidiot”, also in the dictionary.
For instance, let us talk about the story related to the evolution of the human species in the Hindu religion.
Lord Brahma was the god who had procreated the first woman and the first man of the world, according to the Hindu religion.
How Lord Brahma is believed to have created the human species on the earth
According to Brahma Purana, nothing existed in the universe except an eternal ocean — to begin with.
Brahma (who had four heads) sprang from the cosmic golden egg and he, then, created Shatarupa (also named as Sandhya and Brahmi), who is regarded to have been the first woman to have been created by him along with Manu though nobody seems to know what may have been the truth.
Don’t you think — only an idiot shall believe in anything that may sound so bizarre, if not “idiotic”?
I hope, I have made my point why we need the word “Religidiot” also in the English Dictionary.
Though the process of biological evolution may have begun millions of years back from the stage of amoeba — how, so many creatures having so perfect systems of keeping themselves alive and the systems of reproducing themselves should have got evolved amazes us till date — more like a puzzle rather than anything else.
Everything about it seems to be nothing but just wild guesswork — at the best.
After all, none of the ancestors should have been around anywhere near Brahma to have seen him creating Shatarupa and Manu.
It does not amaze us so much that Indian ancestors could have discovered 5000 or 7000 years ago that the two stars Arundhati (Alcor) and Vashishtha (Mizar) revolve around each other when they did not have even any telescopes at their disposal.
The fact that they had discovered these stars is supported by the fact that, in South India, the priests tell the grooms that if they show these stars to the brides — so that they led a synchronous marital life just like these two stars.
But we have to admit that they couldn’t have found out how the Universe should have come into existence or how so many creatures could have come into existence except by fantasizing.
No wonder, some of them should have imagined that there should have been three Gods who should have arrived through the sky-route to the earth — one named Lord Brahma, the other one Lord Shiva and the third one Lord Vishnu, whom they imagined that they may have looked as shown in the following pictures which they ought to have given the shape of the “Hindu Religion”, later on.
Is it anyway different from the way the children keep on imagining about the things they are not much aware of?
Do you think — they could have been aliens [1]?
If Hindus think that these three gods should have arrived from outer space — which may have been possible if we assumed that there may have been civilizations much more advanced than even our civilization; but it implies that some humans should have been already living on the earth at that time when they ought to have arrived on the earth, to have been able to have seen them descending from the sky.
If so, it defeats the argument that they should have created the human species.
But do you doubt, howsoever advanced they ought to have been; it couldn’t have been possible for any one of them to have arrived the earth ALIVE from the outer space?
Only some robots could have arrived, at the best — who may have told the natives of the earth about the technique of creating such temples as, say, the Ellora Temple (sculpted out of a single rock) and the technique of carving so intricate sculptures such as can be seen in the jewellery worn by the Nandi cow in the following picture.
But looking at the century in which, these temples got constructed — we may say, that unlike Lord Brahma, the Lord Shiva and the Lord Vishnu; these aliens ought to have arrived not much earlier than 1500 years ago.
The rest is left for us to think what makes sense and what does not make sense.
Or, whether we are prepared to continue with the past beliefs based on which, the foundation of the Hindu religion had been laid down thousands of years back?
