The way it should have become possible for Hanuman to fly at a speed of 517 km/hour

Is it not true that even we have seen during our lifespan itself that a lady Shakuntala Devi (1929–2013) had set an example by calculating certain things even at a speed faster than the speed at which the computers of those days could calculate but science is still at a loss to understand how it could have been possible?

There is not much difference between the reason “why science is at a loss to understand how about 7,000 years back it should have become possible for Hanuman to have flown in the air at an average speed of about 517 km per hour to fetch a lifesaving herb known as “Sanjivani” from Himalayas which is as far away as 2,327 km from Lanka (now known as Sri Lanka) to save the life of Laxman, the younger brother of Lord Rama” and the reason “why science is still at a loss to understand how it could have been possible for Shakuntala Devi to calculate at a speed faster than the speed at which the computers of those days could have calculated the same things”.

The reason hidden behind this bottleneck is the same — the creation of roadblocks by science on its way by resorting to a stereotype of mindset, which may be called “Monotonic Mindset” instead of using what we may call “Di-tonic Mindset”.

We could have doubted that Hanuman should have not been able to fetch such herb from the Himalayas overnight only if the life of Laxman, the younger brother of Lord Rama who fought for life could have not been saved.

But we know that he did not die because Hanuman had been able to bring this herb much before the sunrise though it is true that if we look at the following diagram it, well nigh, appears to be next to impossible that it should have been possible.

This diagram shows Hanuman flying in the air carrying a big rock on his palm.

No wonder, the people of the West are sarcastic about it.

Of course, they are not sarcastic without a reason.

They are sarcastic only because it seems next to impossible for any human being to fly in the air at such a high speed.

Since the Himalayas are about 2327 km away from Sri Lanka, if he should have taken about nine hours to bring this herb, he should have flown at an average speed of about “4654 km/9 hrs”, that is at an average speed of about 517 km per hour.

THOUGH IT HAS NOT OCCURRED TO ANYBODY ELSE SO FAR — THIS IS HOW IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED ACCORDING TO ME.

THE WAY — IT COULD HAVE BECOME POSSIBLE ACCORDING TO ME

MAYBE, HE DID NOT HAVE TO FLY AT ALL!

Naturally, such a thing could have not happened in a normal way.

PEOPLE DOUBT THAT IT COULD HAVE NOT BEEN POSSIBLE DUE TO THE FOLLOWING REASONS.

Himalayas are as far away as 2327 km from Sri Lanka as shown in the following diagram.

Distance of Himalayas from Sri Lanka

But just because we don’t know how such things could have been possible — it does not make sense to deny that such things could have not happened.

To understand how it could have become possible, we have to think beyond the nose.

WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO TELL HOW SUCH MIRACLE SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED?

Let us assume that

1. Hanuman should have learnt only the art of levitating himself in the air.

2. He may have also learnt the Mantras to invoke the “Great Power” which could have compelled even the Earth to obey its commands.

3. Since the latitude of Himalayas is 30° N and the latitude of Sri Lanka is 10° N, when he should have levitated himself facing toward Himalayas and would have chanted such Mantra, the “Great Power” should have ordained the Earth to turn the 30°N latitude to also turn toward 10°N latitude at a speed of “20° / 4.5 hrs”, that is, at a speed of about 4.44° per hour for 4.5 hours from the time of levitation to enable him to reach Himalayas.

4. Likewise, when he ought to have levitated himself after lifting such a piece of rock (on which the life-saving herb “Sanjivani” grew) to leave for Sri Lanka and would have chanted such Mantra the second time; the “Great Power” should have ordained the Earth to turn back the 30°N latitude to its original place at the speed of about 4.44° per hour for 4.5 hours to let him reach Sri Lanka before dawn.

Of course, it is not a complete answer by any means because it wraps following assumptions which also do not appear to have been possible.

1. How 30°N latitude of the Earth could have turned toward 10°N latitude?

2. Does any such “Great Power” at all exist, which may have ordained the Earth to comply with its commands?

3. Could it have been possible for anyone to develop a Mantra through which it could have become possible for Hanuman to invoke such “Great Power”?

THOUGH WE CAN’T DENY THAT HE OUGHT TO HAVE BROUGHT THIS HERB BECAUSE IT IS WELL KNOWN THAT LAXMAN DID NOT DIE IN SRI LANKA, IT IS ALSO TRUE THAT NOBODY HAS BEEN ABLE TO TELL HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO ACHIEVE SUCH AN AMAZING FEAT.

If science would had not been monotonic in its outlook — it would have found answers to many unresolved mysteries of this type by now which are still mocking us.

Such mysteries can’t be resolved based on only a “Monotonic Mindset”.

It calls for switching over to at least a “Di-tonic Mindset” — if not even a “Tri-tonic Mindset” or “Tetra-tonic Mindset”.

We could have agreed that it may have been only a pun if Laxman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, would have not survived.

WELL, GUYS — IF WE HAVE A MONOTONIC MINDSET, NO ONE CAN HELP US.

OF COURSE, WE CAN GET AN ANSWER TO SUCH QUERIES IF WE ARE PREPARED TO SWITCH OVER TO AT LEAST A “DI-TONIC MINDSET”.

HOWEVER, DON’T LOSE PATIENCE.

JUST WAIT FOR MY NEXT CALL.

EVEN I HAVE COME TO KNOW ABOUT IT ONLY VERY RECENTLY.

LET US KEEP IT AS A SURPRISE FOR A WHILE.

I SHALL THROW ABUNDANT LIGHT ON THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH TYPES OF MINDSETS IN MY NEXT ARTICLE.
